Clifton not Cardiff

There were some trains running into Cardiff from the English side of the border but none at all from Pembrokeshire. Our friend still had no power this morning and there were trees down along her lane. There was no way she could make the journey. We concluded that as the three of us are together anyway we might as well stay together in Bristol and not make the journey to Wales where so much has been disrupted by the storm. 

We have had a good day wandering round Clifton Village and down to the waterfront. It's been windy but not wild. Here is the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. It's got scaffolding on it in parts. Must take a lot of maintenance.
