Christmas rose now making an appearance.

Helleborus Niger. White flower petals, golden stamens and green leathery leaves. Lies flat in freezing temperatures and frosty weather and stands more upright when temperature is higher. Plenty buds to open over the next few weeks.

We have a couple in our back garden main bed; with hindsight we should’ve planted nearer to front door, as they’re not really seen here.
