we live in a broken world - it is undeniable if you - but look around and - see the utter chaos - confusion and calamity which - clutters our everyday - existence on this planet - however during advent as - throughout the year - we are reminded of an ongoing - hope which is available to us - as outlined in scripture

‘for a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. he will be named wonderful counselor, mighty god, eternal father, prince of peace.’ -isaiah 9:6

the hebrew word for peace - is shalom which communicates a - wholeness or completeness - jesus came into our hurting - world to bring it peace - to be a living example of shalom - to defeat the enemy - reconciling people to himself - and establishing a new - kind of kingdom - born as a baby - grown to a man - jesus came to be our peace in the - middle of an uncertain - and chaotic world and lead - us forth to…
