Western Area Battle

Workington Camera Club were the hosts this year of the "Western area battle" (Though we did host at Dalston's hall, as it's larger than ours).

It is a print and pdi competition between 6 clubs, Workington, Dumfries, Keswick, Penrith, Dalston & Carlisle. We came a respectable third overall (having come 2nd in the prints) 

Our visiting Judge and lecturer was the excellent Adrian Lines from Wigan. Whose talk included a wonderful masterclass of how his remarkable creative images are put together and post processed. The photo shows Adrian’s prints on the stands. 

All in all a fabulous day, so many people pulled together to make it a real success.
