Amaryllis

The last blooms on the amaryllis’ have just opened up.

Today we headed off to church and stayed for the Spanish Branch as Kent was playing the organ for them today.

For our late lunch was had leftovers from yesterday. So nice and easy! :-)

Had FaceTime with the grandkids and talked with them about their advent calendars and what they were and weren’t liking about them.

Afterwards we watched a movie called “I heard the bells”. A friend at church had recently seen it on TV and was telling me about it so Kent got it for us to watch.

It’s the story of how Longfellow came to write the poem/song “I heard the bells on Christmas Day” and it is a really good movie. If you have the opportunity to watch it, I recommend it too.
