Dickens Festival 2024

I managed to catch the tail end of the Dickens Festival today. It was a beautiful day and not too cold. There were quite a few people walking around the village enjoying the festivities.
I got a call from dad on my way home asking me if I could stop by because their answering machine isn’t working.  I always tell them if you don’t recognize the name or number do not pick up. If it is important they will leave a message, too many scams these days, especially towards the elderly. So I went over there and saw that it was simply off and turned it back on and explained to mom this light needs to be on.
When I got home I put my little Christmas tree up. Now I just need to do some Christmas shopping.
