Look Who I Saw

This weekend we have had our son and daughter in law visiting us from Surrey.  We have had a great time.  We were worried that they would not make it because of the weather but their train was on time.  We had a family get together with food, a quiz and lots of laughs on Saturday.

Yesterday we really wanted to get out for some fresh air but the weather was still quite wild on the morning.  Just after lunch it settled down a bit so we decided to go to Beamish Museum - a first for our daughter in law.   Yes, it was dull and a bit on the blustery side but the the rain stopped so we were able to see lots of it.  The only time it rained was when we were in the cafe and by the time we came out it had stopped raining.

Sadly, they go home to Surrey today but we have had a fabulous time with them.
