Cathedral Sunstreaks
It’s Thursday already, and it was not too long a day at work. There were clear skies and sun for most of the day, but it was still frosty and cold outside. I grabbed this shot just after midday, as the winter sun hung high over the Canterbury skyline and silhouetted the cathedral. The cracked, scored, anti-glare coating on the coffee room windows provided a free special effects filter for the image, warping the sun’s light into these fascinating streaks and swirls.
