Flowering leek

We decided to let some of our winter leeks hang around in the veg patch to flower. Here's one just about bursting out of it's case. I think they are splendid.
Went to visit new chums who have a fantastic huge seaside house they are renovating. Even a concert grand Erard piano gracing the lounge. Poor thing no one plays it. I'm hoping to go back and give it some company.
