Just because I love it

A slightly back-dated entry; I'm playing catch-up after a year of crappy internet connections and zero time to Blip.

One of the things that surprised me about Lebanon was the amount of street art. I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised because I was working near a university, but one thing you quickly learn about Beirut is that it is full of surprises, especially if your only preconceptions are based on the western media's portrayal of the city a la 1980s.
