Chasing Rainbows

We were travelling up to New Marske to visit our daughter when I commented on the dark clouds but bright sun. Then I spotted it, the most intense, vibrant rainbow I can remember. All the colours were visible. 

I pulled over at the next turning and luck had it there was a bit of an area to park and even a bench to stand on to see over the hedges. I witnessed this vision grow and grow until it became a double band of kaleidoscope of colours. By the time it was full it was raining heavily and a few spots got on my lens.
