This was the best bit of the day

Welly walk with the dogs everything was ok till I tried to start the van, I finally managed to start it but it wouldn't drive up the slope out of the paddock. Fortunately the next 3 people in understood the situation and was happy to enter and walk their dogs while I sorted the situation. RAC called, sister spoken to. Dogs taken by sister back to my house. RAC finally found me (very little phone signal where I was, but it seems I did the correct thing of texting my position as texts tend to get through easier than phoning). He got the van going but it needs work so he escorted me to an RAC approved garage close to my home. Sister came and picked me up.
Back home, log burner lit, bottle of red wine opened. Tomorrow's events cancelled, messages sent out for things later in the week. Friends helping where they can. I am so lucky x
