I thought I had better take a shot of these delicious orange berries, glowing in the sunshine , before the blackbirds gobble them up. They have stripped one side of the bush already but still have plenty to go at .
I met some of my ex work colleagues, the first time since I left 4 and a half years ago, and lunched together as part of a retirement send off for my very good friend Jackie . We were all very pleased to see one another. My retirement was more of a gradual fading away as it was during covid and we were working in very small teams / bubbles . What a strange time that was . Surreal !
I popped into town after to buy a few bits and pieces for Christmas . I found some lovely jigsaws for Eric in the heart foundation shop. A whole day at home tomorrow, hoping to get the sewing machine out !
