Millennium Bridge Castleford

Over the river Aire
I went down to Castleford to shop today and I always like to go see the bridge and how high the water is. I was taking a picture for todays blip when I heard a noise behind me and turned round to see all these pigeons looking at me, They must have come for food. There used to be a fish and chip shop by the river but it closed, I think they used to get the scraps and bits of chips from the people who sat on the benches outside.  When I started to walk away they were following me, I felt like the pied piper of Hamlyn. 
The river was quite high and running very fast.

I did manage to get 2 presents for the girls Fleecy onesies for winter, I hope Graces is big enough for her as she is very tall for a 13 year old, but I did get a larger size. I can take it back if it doesn't fit. I hope they like them. I could do with one myself.

I did get a few other bits, but still have one present to buy, I might make that one several smaller ones, as I have no idea what to buy her.

It did rain a bit today, but all in all it was sunny but very cold.

I was tired when I got home, but I got my cards finished and all written and stamped ready for the postbox tomorrow.
