Jack’s back ….

….. but I didn’t  think Frost would hang around for long. As the day went on the temperature gradually rose and the clouds returned. However, I managed to grab a few shots of the evidence that it had been quite cool overnight.
I finally managed to get the dried fruit soaking ready to make the Christmas cake on Thursday. I also did the washing but saw the no point in hanging it outdoors. Instead, I am fortunate to have space in the former garage (home of the log boiler) which is where most winter washing hangs to dry.
