Surprise

Didn't sleep that well last night, body clock on overdrive! My son M and his partner flew up from Sydney early this morning, and were here by 11.0am. We drove up to Port Douglas to book in to the hotel, and then to surprise my granddaughter ...Oh my was she surprised!! She literally shrieked and ran to me... what a moment to treasure, she was thrilled...see extra!
We spent the day on loungers, around the pool in an individual 'pod'.. . . cocktails, and beers interspersed with iced water and lemonade, and the two great grandchildren having the best time in the water. A wonderful family time. Early evening, into the town for dinner in the restaurant A is using for the wedding reception tomorrow afternoon....There are a lot of crocodiles in the area, although there have never been any incidents. This is a warning sign in the hotel grounds where there is beach access.. it's a busy beach for walkers which seems to keep them way ... 
So sorry I've not been able to visit journals at present.  Just too much going on...
