Snow!
We’ve escaped pre-storm and arrived to a smattering of snow on the airfield.
Feeling cold and Christmassy as we walked out for our first evening in Budapest, we found a very local Hungarian-Mexican Tako around the corner (with stacked beer crates for stools) for a delicious bite to eat before heading to the Budapest Eye and Christmas market. We had a ride on the Eye which was fun and helped with bearings and gave a super view of the city dressed up at night.
Rich was hungry again so we dropped in to a Chinese for his bedtime snack before returning to the hotel. I’m looking forward to wearing my mountain trousers tomorrow; I think they’ll suit the temperatures better than these jeans!
