Little boxes

I went to a craft workshop this morning to make driftwood houses Mine is the one at the top. When they were all grouped together I was reminded of the song 'Little Boxes' by Pete Seeger. When I was a child I moved into my sisters bedroom when she moved out and 'inherited' the old and unloved radiogram that was in there. In one of the pockets I found this single and played it over and over again. It always makes me smile.




Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky
Little boxes, little boxes
Little boxes all the same
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same
