Early morning

Another early morning shot.  Right now it's hard to find a way to get colour into images, isn't it, instead of the eternal grey, but I thought this okay.  It was taken in Hyde Street on the way into town (which at that time I never got as far as..) and shows the day had well started for a fair few workers.

Later I went into town properly to buy the first batch of Christmas presents and queued in the Post Office for three quarters of an hour just to get a parcel off to my stepson.  Also bought presents for the three friends I'm seeing on Friday.  That was at the flower stall in the street market, where Dave gave me a free bunch of chrysanths (to which I could say, 'how nice', or more cynically 'perhaps he knew he was ripping me off' - but no, I'm never cynical..)
