Nutcracker Soldiers v2

After doing my blip a couple of days ago of the Nutcracker Soldiers in town, I ordered a pair of them from Amazon which arrived today. I’ve had a busy day and forgot to take a photo for blip, so I unwrapped them and stood them in front of my xmas tree for a quick blip. I did two lots of washing first thing which pretty much line dried. Then I spent over an hour collecting leaves out the front which filled the wheelie bin. After lunch I used my sump pump to empty more water from my pond, there’s been a lot of rain in Dec so far. Then I did all the ironing. 

I’m having problems with a delivery from……..yes, you guessed it, EVRI. They were supposed to deliver a self assembly metal cabinet last week, but the deadline was missed and a new one set. Then I got a message yesterday that they were unable to deliver it when they tried - which was ‘odd’ as I was outside putting up a string of Xmas lights at that time, plus checking my RING video doorbell there had been no callers other than the postman with letters. They then said they were going to deliver it today - they delivered the other parcel this afternoon, but no cabinet. Their chatbot says it’s out for delivery today, but with no delivery window. I was going to ring, but I checked the number with Vodafone and it was too expensive to ring, I’ll contact the sender on Amazon if it doesn’t turn up today. Why companies use EVRI I don’t know, as the damage to their reputation must outweigh any cost saving.
