iced

I iced the Christmas cake this morning - not too much icing as it makes it too sweet - just a thin layer on top of the marzipan. Not royal icing as that can be too hard. Mr I just had to have a slice so now it is covered with a large stainless steel bowl. Not done much today really, just odd little jobs. Always surprising how long they take though. Found a tiny bag of anemone bulbs I hadn’t planted - to do tomorrow as it’s dark now.
