About 10 years ago, the council commissioned an artist to come up with a slogan for Frome. She was, I recall, paid thousands of pounds. This is what she came up with.
I'll be honest, it raises my hackles every time I see it. Having grown up in the dump that was Frome in the 1960s, I know that something wonderful HAD happened, long before this appeared!
