More of the same (Day 3501)
Since my beautiful wife was zooming off to catch a ferry this morning, I took Sigyn for her morning wander. Back at home I dosed up on painkillers, and after breakfast got my van sorted out. I headed to town and collected a load of pellets for the boiler, and after unloading them sat around and waited for a phone call from the spinal unit in Aberdeen for a spinal triage assessment.
When the call eventually came, I was reasonably impressed with the doctor who spoke to me. She listened to my history and how my current pain level is affecting my every day activities, gave me a bit of advice and said that she was referring me for an MRI scan. There isn't any indication of when the scan will happen or whether it will be in Orkney or in Aberdeen.
After the call, I got out with Sigyn for a wander at Lyde. It was thick drizzle and poor visibility the entire time we were out, but Sigyn enjoyed herself.
Back home for a quick lunch, then in to town to fit a kitchen sink in a new kitchen which used up the rest of the afternoon.
