Wrong side of the Valley

Thank you everyone who awarded hearts for yesterday's sunset shot. What short days we are having up here at 54ºN. The shot yesterday  was taken at 3:30 in the afternoon. 

Today, needing a sedate walk that did not get the blood circulating round the new gap in my teeth,  I persuaded two of the Tuesday crowd to accompany me on a river valley walk. What a mistake. We were in the shade of the low winter sun. If we had ventured up the hill we would have been in bright sunshine.  .
