Developers 'consulting' the public

We popped to the local parish church this evening to see an exhibition about the redevelopment of a major site in Brentford - the previous global headquarters of GSK, which the company decided to vacate after the pandemic. Great efforts were made to explain why most of a building less than 25 years old should be demolished. I get the logic, but it still seems tragic.
