Dunnock

I reported this bird to the Garden Wildlife Health people, and they say that they think it is infected with avian pox virus. They say that sporadic cases of avian pox have been recorded in some British garden birds for many years, most commonly affecting species like the dunnock, the starling, and the feral pigeon, but that tits can now be affected as well. The infections are often quite mild, in which case the birds can recover.
