Christmas book group

The consensus was that Pachinko was very good but a slow read. Three of us didn't finish, including me. But I will. I just found out hard to read at my usual pace as I was having to pay a lot of attention to the Japanese and Korean names and customs, so I didn't leave enough time.

There was also a lot of gossiping, drinking fizzy wine/Cremant/mulled wine and eating of Christmas treats. I had to stop at the talk of Strictly though! Our next book is The Echoes of Us, which I'm looking forward to.
