Weka

The wild life is very friendly in the Queen Charlotte track- the Weka are always looking for crumbs we may have dropped! One even gave me a light peck on the leg!

A wonderful walk from Ships Cove to Ferneaux Lodge ( extra). It wasn’t as steep as I thought it would be, but felt like a good long walk!
We had a beautiful fish meal outside the Lodge and an early night in our lovely cabin. Luxury!
