The Other Lady……

She is in a plate hanging on the wall. Her companion is mere inches away from her and was blipped a few days ago. We believe they are French and are of lasting beauty.
Another hot day here in Marlborough. The weather, seems to me, to be more like that we usually experience in late January, early February. Hot and dry. I had a fleeting wish as I regarded my drying lawns…. I would rather enjoy live on the West Coast where the weather is mostly cooler and wet. Sigh.
Margaret and I loaded up the trailer with more green garden waste this evening. We covered it with a tarpaulin and tied that down. So it is ready to be taken to the green waste centre tomorrow. There is plenty more green waste to fill another trailer load. . One year I had a skip delivered to me on site. It was hard work but fun filling that skip but expensive to hire it.
