Tin Tabernacles of 2024 #28

I think that this will be the final Tin Tabernacle of 2024. I don’t have any plans to add to the total before the end of the month though you never know.

However you’ll be delighted by/horrified by/indifferent to the news that the quest looks likely to continue next year. I like to plan and I like to have a project so I’ve been working away on visiting more tin tabernacles in 2025. I never like to count my chickens but if things work out there will be more corrugated iron next spring.

So far tin tabernacles visited and blipped are:

 Swineford and Bailbrook

St Mary the Virgin

This morning's visit was to St Mary the Virgin at Shepperdine near Oldbury on Severn. It sits quite alone in a field and is open to visitors. It's a tiny wee church and makes a lovely conclusion to this year's discoveries.

Coffee and a walk will be followed by a trip into the Bristol shops then packing for home tomorrow.
