I've been to the allotment two or three times recently to look for the broad beans.... no sign of them at all, perhaps it's been too cold. There's no evidence of them being dug up either though! Today I dug the alfalfa into another bed, although I probably should've left it a bit longer I suppose... I also barrowed and spread two loads of wood chippings from the pile near the gate to my paths. Only about four more barrowloads to go. It was nice to do something energetic and my stitches didn't pull at all!

Then I walked home the long way round and collected the grandsons' presents from the local shop on my way. At home I thought I'd try doing my stretching properly, lying on the floor carefully, as I've so missed doing them like that, but having been told not to lie on my back I hadn't. Stitches out on Friday hurrah, but I'd better not go bouldering yet.
