Machine button sewing

I have managed machine button sewing in the past , but very slow and labourious to line up the holes. So since then I have hand sewn buttons.
Decided today to have another go, the first 2 were slow and laborious! But once past those the rest were a piece of cake :-). I believe you can get a button foot and tried ring our local sewing machine dealer. It's Wednesday and they are closed all day, so I have saved some money , always a good thing :-)
