Rather a lot about not a lot
Today was not as cold as yesterday, and so Rufus got more than two hours out and about. Firstly, half an hour of ball games in the park before heading off through the lane (today's photo - such an interesting tree) to go to the retail park where I collected a prescription from the chemist and Rufus met several adoring customers. Then to Pets at Home where I tried once again to find a winter coat for Rufus but he must be an irregular shape cos nothing suits. However, he did persuade me that he needed a box of Christmas doggy 'mince' pies that were cleverly displayed on a bottom shelf where passing woofers can sniff and then look appealingly at their owners. Well done Rufus. Finally, we went to Hobbycraft where I bought a few things and the sales people told Rufus how handsome they found him to be. He takes all this in his stride, being accustomed to it from diners at Pasa and other sea front restaurants in Akbuk. We then we returned to the park and he played Manic Zoomies for a further half an hour before heading home.
Tonight was my second online 60 minutes Art lecture with the group that I signed up for last week through the Meetup social media platform. Today's talk was about how we might/can respond to various C20th Abstract artworks/artists and included information about the mid C20th avant grade Japanese Gutai artists that I previously knew nothing about. Apparently there is some work of this movement exhibited at Tate Modern so I think I need to get myself there in the new year.
Another rubbish action movie tonight, recommended by Netflix who clearly don't know me as well as they think they do....
Well that was a lot of write up for such a not much day.
