Birch

It‘s not a mono photo, but the world was pretty much mono today (and dark, again). Still, it wasn’t wet, so B and I went for a walk this morning. This silver birch grows in one of the gardens along our usual walk, just on the edge of the vineyards. 

We didn’t meet any other people while we were out for just over one hour. That’s really unusual, so close to the city. On a nice summer day, we’d need to dodge cyclists, dog walkers and joggers all the time.
