Family furniture

This chest of drawers was bought in Malta by my parents towards the end of the 1950's, so I have known it all of my life.  It has been in my sister's care since our mother died, but it won't fit in the log cabin that will be their new off-grid home in Cornwall.  So thanks to two amazingly professional men with a van, it moved from Bath to my home yesterday afternoon.  The plan is that this will house all my tapestry, quilting and associated fabric, wool and tool caches.

Lots of sorting out done in preparation of its arrival, 3 bags of computing and robotics books heading off to a local school Thursday and  a box of sheet music went to the music school this afternoon.  I now I need to find somewhere to empty the paper recycling box as if is overflowing before I managed to start the shredding. I have emptied a lot of folders, recycling printouts of courses and tutorial resources that I'm never going to use again. There is a lot still to do as you can seen in the extra, but that will keep me busy over Christmas while the offspring are away. :-)
