Nativity scene

This knitted post box topper was vandalised a couple of weeks ago and discarded in a corner of the car park. I'm pleased to report it was rescued/resuscitated and now back in pride of place atop this pillar box.

I had an unscheduled visit to the doctor's surgery this morning and was delighted to be seen by my favourite doctor. She is both knowledgeable and pragmatic, for some reason, a somewhat rare combination these days.

GeordiePam is away at a funeral in Newcastle upon Tyne for a few days, necessitating a taxi for me, followed by Shank's pony home. It was nice weather for a walk. On the way, I stopped off at a community cafe for coffee and toast.
