Palettes
A busy morning in the office, reviewing priorities for the team with my colleagues. It’s fair to say we weren’t looking forward to this, though when we got into the details there was a logical way forward.
Then I ducked out of a training session (about something that won’t happen until after I have left) and tried to make some progress on a couple of other sticky issues. Then as I had a banging headache and feel like I am going down with a cold I turned the laptop off slightly earlier than originally planned. Fingers crossed an early night will help shake it off.
So today’s blip is a quick picture of yesterday’s watercolour. The final exercise in a book of 50 15-minute paintings. It’s definitely helped me feel a little bit more confident with various techniques. I suspect there’s a lifetime of refinement before I get used to how the water and paint behave, but that ongoing challenge is probably much of the pleasure of creativity.
