A Lovely Festive Feeling
I've had a lovely day. My daughter and I took Mish to Hoddesdon. As we parked a man with two dogs asked if his dogs could play with Mish. We had to explain about her dog phobia. She was a good girl and waited in the van for us.
The market was on and the atmosphere very festive. We went into the cheap shop where my daughter has found items she likes in the past and the shopkeeper was eating chips. He offered us one, they were delicious.
We had a nice chat with Steve the fishmonger and he posed with a big sea bass. I got some jellied eels for MrQ, pictured with ground white pepper and malt vinegar on them. He said they were beautiful.
It was lovely to hear and see the children singing carols so enthusiastically. I love the Christmas pudding hat of the guitarist.
