Up and out early for it was the day that the van was to be MOT'd and it was necessary to traipse to Grangemouth. Well, not necessary. There's a garage in Rosyth that can test it but I was hoping that Derek, who has done the work needed in previous years to get it through when it inevitably failed, would, like he did last year, pick it up, do the work and bring it back. But there was no need. By Vectron's kindly claw it passed. One advisory. A small miracle. Given previous years, I've resigned myself to building a new van one MOT at a time. This year I can, if I'm sensible, use the hundreds of pounds not spent on essential repairs on preventative maintenance. Like that will happen.
