Brook House
Definitely an EB today.
The day started well, train on time leaving Saltburn, but a cancelled train at Peterborough meant I was a little late arriving in St Neots.
However we didn’t get the call to collect keys to Greg’s new flat until nearly 3pm, so then it was action stations.
Consequently it’s an EB from me tonight.
Back at St Neots now and then off early in the morning.
The blip is of Brook House across the road from the b&b we are staying in.
I had it in mind when I was down last time. I think Georgian architecture is probably my favourite period. This is a fine example, and apparently the railings at the front were saved from requisition during World War Two owing to their age and merit. The building dates from 1700. Or thereabouts.
