Three in one
As I looked out from the ferry this morning the panorama in front of me was made up of these three contrasting views. From clear blue sky and snow capped hills to the north-east, through Ben Cruachan with a clear summit but a band of cloud on its slopes, to a completely misty Oban. Sadly, that’s how Oban stayed for the rest of the day but it didn’t dampen our spirits. We enjoyed lunch at Roxy’s (dog friendly cafe) which gave me energy to race round the shelves in Tesco and M&S, ticking everything off my list as I went. Then it was time to walk Bertie in Dunollie woods, followed by a brief stop at Waterstones to choose a couple of games to play with our friends over the festive period, before joining the queue of cars for the ferry and the journey back home.
