Look What I Won!

I had such a marvelous time today! I was invited to the final holiday luncheon for the ladies' golf league that I was co-president of last year. Unfortunately the formal organization (board, membership and checkbook) is now dissolved and the golf club is managing the league in a different way now. So many of us spent years volunteering and playing with this amazing group of women, so it was really marvelous seeing everyone back together again! I left the golf club much earlier this year because it had gotten too expensive for me, but I've been invited to join in on various games and parties over the year. 

The organizers hosted the luncheon at our local Elks Club, and they did a marvelous job decorating and organizing. The food was great, and the company even better!

And...I won a poinsettia!
