Hararu falls

We drove a long way (162 miles) from Bucklands Beach to Kerikeri. The weather was getting worse as we travelled north and it was raining heavily when we arrived at our motel. When it lessened we drove out to explore the area and went to Paihia to see what was there. On the way back we found this waterfall, which was pleasant though not stunning. We walked a little way along the track next to the river but time was against us spending too long out so we headed back to Kerikeri and bought supplies in the supermarket so that we could cook a meal in the chalet. The rain increased and the forecast looks bad for the foreseeable future in the north, so we are thinking we may change our plans and go south again after our two nights here.
