Enjoying the Sunshine

It has been another lovely day after the cloud lifted. Pity the strong winds picked up every afternoon. That kept the temperatures down to around 26c. 

My friend picked me up and we had lunch at a cafe at the small shopping centre nearby. Afterwards we did some Christmas shopping, at the same centre. My friend said it was so good to get parking outside the shops we visiting and not the rush of the big malls. We both had a successful buys with our Christmas shopping. It was a lovely time together. 

There have been a few more wild fires in the Canterbury area today. Luckily...so far they are contained. Everything is so dry and the strong winds make ideal conditions for fires.
