Sandend.

The day was not promising. Leaden skies and pouring with rain. We decided on a wee road trip, initially to Pennan but stopping off at Sandend en route. Arrived at Sandend and had forgotten what a lovely wee village it is, unspoilt and unchanged over the years.
I do hope it stays that way. We did not venture further along the coast as we had a long walk along the sandy beach and a picnic in the car! Perhaps we will do Pennan another day, but I will need a good reason to pass Sandend.
