Blue Christmas 2024

Erja Lyytinen & Friends Blue Christmas concert in Tampere Hall with Noora Louhimo and Pekko Käppi. Excellent as always!

Noora Louhimo is the lead singer of heavy metal band Battle Beast, but she has also released a more roots music orientated solo album and toured with her own band Noora Louhimo Experience. As a singer she is incredible (her version of Piece of My Heart for proof) and her stage presence is definitely top class, too. My first time seeing her live, but I hope not the last!

Pekko Käppi is a folk musician. His instument is called jouhikko, which doesn't appear to have an English name. Something different, but definitely interesting stuff!
