Red

Grey cloud with a gentle breeze. The breeze was very fresh.
Steve Smiths cattle are back on the land surrounding the clay pits. Very little grazing so they are brought hay everyday. I think they are Aberdeen Angus & Devon Red breeds.
I met Jane in BT for a catch up in the Community Hub run by volunteers in one of the ex bank buildings. Good coffee but a tad chilly. They have just received funding so have begun building an outside seating area in the rear courtyard & installing solar panels on the roof.
We visited a couple of shops on our way back to the car, one, Master Furse, a very chatty textile designer, who has moved back to his roots from London, had a very diverse retail offer. Very keen & obviously talented, not sure how well he will do in BT. Grace & Favour, another retailer moved into the ex Lloyd's bank building, where we both bought Xmas gifts.
I drove Jane out to the newly opened Lidl, where she shopped. She does'nt drive, well she does but not a manual, which is definately a disadvantage staying with her Mum up Hennock in the sticks. . She has an automatic back in Barbados.
Back to CK gave Mum her lunch, then home.
Watched the last episode of Shetland, (did'nt see that ending coming), then caught the end of The Impossible, a feature film  made in Thailand, about the 2004 tsunami. 2 friends played extras in the film, I spotted Jan first, I knew she was in the back of a pickup truck with Ewan McGregor for one scene.  Kate was not so easy to spot.
