Exeter Christmas market

Still catching up with entries from our Devon trip last week.
We caught the bus from Newton Abbot and mum got on it at BoveyTracey, then we all went on to Exeter for a day out. It was a lovely bright day, but cold. We had a wander around the Christmas market which is in the grounds of the cathedral. Then we had a wander around the town centre. Lunch at M&S, and afterwards mum got some shopping in the food hall. Then it was the bus back to Bovey where we got off with her to carry the shopping back. We stayed on for a cuppa, then said our goodbyes as we were heading up to London the next day. 
Dennis and I had dinner at an Italian restaurant in Newton Abbot that evening.  We had hoped to eat at the hotel as we were quite tired, but the restaurant was closed due to staff shortages. Still, we had a lovely meal, so worth it in the end.
