Mixed Leaves

The first of the salad crops is just about ready for picking - an italian mixture brought back by a chum The trick here is to keep it going until September or October by juggling the eating, growing and sowing rotation.

So once we start on this we have to sow another box while yet another is growing.

Is anybody else interested in this? It's like the potato. compost thing - what's facinating to one is wierd to another.

The result is that we should have salads for most days for the next 5 months.

Next we need to get the tomatos and cucumbers organised. Life is never dull in the country.
