Offshore wind turbines and dog-walkers at sunset

Donald Trump hates wind turbines. He went to our supreme court to try to prevent the Aberdeen Bay wind farm from being built because it would spoil the view from his golf course.  Thankfully the highest court in the land 'sent him hameward tae think again'. The 11 turbines now provide 70% of Aberdeen’s total electricity demand.

The supreme irony is that in building his golf course The Donald trashed a large area of pristine and beautiful sand dunes which had been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Sadly the site has now de-designated.
